We offer a variety of other hunts at Dakota Hot Spots. Our reputation is built on great hunts, great accommodations and lots of great food.
We farm for the "birds" and each season we strive to improve important hunting areas. We carefully select and manage our pheasant and upland game birds areas for optimum bird production, with emphasis placed on nesting habitat and food plots.
Mule deer and whitetail: Whitetails are abundant and there are plenty of opportunities to shoot a nice mule deer as well in case that is what you are looking for. Our guides will make sure that you have the opportunity of seeing and taking a nice trophy buck home.
Trophy South Dakota Bucks: Yes, Big Bucks. You can expect to see big bodied bucks ranging between 120 and 170 class. It is not uncommon to see 70 to 100 deer in our food plots. Archery hunting is available prior to or after the rifle deer season. Hunter Orange is required for rifle deer hunting.
Location and Deer Blinds: You will be hunting out of permanent and portable blinds along Medicine Creek in the morning and late afternoons.
Predators are abundant due to the high populations of other game. We offer a limited amount of coyote hunts at Dakota Hot Spots. Contact us to add predator hunting in addition to a great pheasant hunt. Are You Ready?
Scouting has been done already for you. You will be dropped off in specific locations where the birds will be flying from their roost to their feeding areas. We offer a bonus hunt free of charge; before you go out on your pheasant hunt you have the option of doing a sunrise pass shoot for grouse and prairie chicken. Scouting has been done already for you.
